Frankfurt Book Fair

For five days every October, the book trade congregates at Frankfurt for the world’s largest international rights fair.

Around 200,000 visitors from all over the world come to view the collections shown by 7,000 exhibitors and 70 national and collective exhibitors from 100 countries, underlining Frankfurt's role as the key trading centre for rights and licenses. The more than 12,000 accredited journalists in attendance reflect the fair's importance as the largest international media event for the book industry.

Each year, the APA coordinates the Australia Aisle – an avenue of Australian stands – and organises a display of new titles in the Showcase of Australian Publishing. The Showcase enables smaller publishers to send titles for display, even if they’re not attending the Fair in person.
