Title: Royalties and Finance Administrator

Term: Permanent part-time (2-3 days per week, depending on the candidate)

Reports to: Director

Location: Office location is North Sydney, but candidate can work remotely if preferred

Salary package: $40,000 p.a. inclusive of superannuation (for 3 days a week)

Leading independent book publisher, Pantera Press, seeks Bookkeeper to join our passionate team in our North Sydney office. The ideal applicant will have at least a couple of years of experience in a similar role and have expertise with both Excel and Xero. This role could be suitable for someone with a royalty/rights admin background. It could also be suitable for someone with more financial expertise who is looking for work/life flexibility for example to work around family commitments or retirement. Our office is in North Sydney but for the right candidate, this could be a remote role. Applicants must be based in Australia and permitted to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial administration tasks
  • Preparation of royalty statements
  • Accounts payable processing
  • Accounts receivable processing
  • Credit card transactions processing
  • Processing entries in Excel spreadsheets and Xero
  • Payroll
  • Expense claims and petty cash
  • Assist with invoicing
  • Assist with payments
  • Compile and summarise accounting transactions and analyse information

Demonstrated Experience and Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Xero
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Advanced experience with Excel
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently
  • Diligent, precise and with a strong attention to detail
