The Residential Editorial Program (REP) for 2022 will take place from Monday 21 February to Thursday 24 February 2022 at Q Station, 1 North Head Scenic Drive, Manly NSW.

The 2022 REP will run as an intensive 4-day program for mid-career editors to work with experienced mentors and speakers. Participants work on a draft manuscript of a book that hasn’t yet been published, provided in strict confidence by an Australian author and publisher. The program also includes workshops and presentations on relevant topics, delivered by guest speakers.

Fifteen participants will be chosen by the organising committee on the basis of their applications. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply, including people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with a disability. There are two scholarships available to First Nations editors.

Applications close 5:00pm AEDT Monday 6 December 2021. Successful applicants will be notified by 17 December.

For more information, and to apply please download the application guidelines and form.

Any questions should be sent to Andrea Hanke.
