One of the APA’s key service areas to its members is providing professional development opportunities to build the skills and capabilities of the industry.

Our program includes annual conferences, training programs, seminars and workshops sharing the latest knowledge and learning across various aspects of the publishing industry.

The Beatrice Davis Editorial Fellowship (BDEF) provides a unique opportunity for a senior Australian editor to develop their knowledge and expertise through a research project, and share their findings with their peers and the wider industry.

Webinars, workshops and seminars

The APA offers a range of webinars, workshops and seminars to provide members with the latest information and skills across a variety of publishing areas.
