The ABIAs recognise and celebrate outstanding books from across the sector, and the publishers and campaigns that brought them to market.
Books published in the previous calendar year are submitted by publishers, and considered by judging panels across categories including children’s, adult, fiction and non-fiction.
The ABIAs also include awards for Publisher of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and individual recognition of publishing professionals through induction into the Hall of Fame.
Entries open annually around December with the event typically held mid-year.
The 2024 awards will take place on Thursday 9 May in Melbourne.
