Publishers can submit their educational resources to be considered by a judging panel across a range of teaching subject areas and levels. The shortlist and winners list provide educators with exemplary books and tools for consideration in their classrooms.
Awards for Publisher of the Year (Primary and Secondary) are based on votes by librarians, teachers and educational booksellers. This award also provides participating publishers with beneficial insights on their performance with their customers.
The Mike Horsley Award is given to a longstanding educational publishing professional who has shown exemplary dedication to the sector.
Entries for the awards open around April each year, and the event is typically held in Melbourne in September.
